What to include in a report
- App version if known.
- Device model and iOS or macOS version.
- The tank, screen, or action involved.
- What you expected to happen.
- What happened instead.
- Screenshots if they help explain the issue.
- Whether you are using a beta or TestFlight build, if applicable.
Good bug reports are specific
Instead of "water tests broke," try "On the Kitchen planted tank, saving a nitrate-only water test did not return me to the tank detail screen." That kind of report is much easier to investigate.
Build a support message
This helper does not send anything from the website. Fill in what you want to share, generate a message, then copy it and send it from your email app to support@tankapp.app.
Name and contact email are required so the support message has enough context.
Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information.
What support cannot cover
Tank! support is for the app and website. It is not emergency aquarium support and cannot provide real-time intervention, veterinary advice, aquarium diagnosis, treatment advice, product recommendations, or chemical-use decisions.
For aquarium emergencies, livestock health, chemical dosing decisions, or treatment advice, consult a qualified aquarium professional or trusted care source.
