Pricing and Plans

Starter keeps one aquarium organized. Tank! Plus Plan is the care-tools direction, while Tank! Journalist is planned separately for photos and memories.

Starter

Starter is free and limited to one tank. It is the simplest way to keep one aquarium's profile, readings, and routine care records together.

Starter may become ad-supported after beta. Beta testers should not be described as receiving ads, and there is no separate purchase currently planned just to make Starter ad-free.

Tank! Plus Plan

Tank! Plus Plan is the main care/tools subscription direction at $9.99 per year or $0.99 per month. It expands to unlimited tanks and Plus-oriented care tools such as a dosing calculator, dosing volume modes, dosing products, dosing schedules, Dose History, custom product warning notes, reminders, and Lighting profile history.

Paid plans are intended to be ad-free when ads exist. Billing is not live yet, and StoreKit purchase, restore, and subscription fulfillment are not active yet.

Set your tank's usual lighting once, then update it when something changes. Tank! keeps a local lighting change history so you can see when your photoperiod, light type, or intensity changed over time. Lighting tools are for recordkeeping and routine awareness, not diagnosis or algae-treatment advice.

Planned Tank! Journalist

Tank! Journalist is the preferred working name for a planned separate photo and memory package. It is not live, its pricing is not final or active, and it should be understood as a future package direction.

The package direction includes Tank! Plus Plan features plus planned photo albums, a tank journal or memory timeline, gentle photo reminders, and memories or memorial areas such as Missed Friends. Photo albums should be understood as local/on-device unless future app documentation explicitly confirms another storage model.

Planned Algae Watch

Algae Watch is planned as a trend tracker for algae observations, similar to a mood or condition check-in. The intended direction is to log algae severity, location, notes, and whether it appears to be improving or worsening.

Algae Watch is recordkeeping only. It is not algae diagnosis, photo identification, treatment advice, or a product recommendation system.
